It has been amazing! From 6 poppy plants my mother has had bunches and bunches of poppies.
I'm sure they have produced 100's of flowers in the past couple of months...they just kept flowering and flowering.
I have been given me a couple of bunches along the way.
I visited my parents yesterday and the poppies have now been pulled out of the garden...so this is the last bunch of the season...
I love the way the stems curl, and the papery texture of the flowers.

You're up early this morning Jill! I love the colour of these poppies. I must have been over in NZ in November 'cos I remember Mum having vases of them there and watching them opening from buds. Have a great day!
